HOHOHO~! I'm so tired rite now. I was given a task to be one of the "merentas desa" officers. Hahaha! What a laugh cuz I was the first one who arrived at school reporting duty. All of my colleagues laughed at me when they heard about it.
Alhamdullillah, thankfully our school at least got a few nice numbers. We got 1st, 4th and 9th place hehehe. Yesterday I couldn't manage to post entry cuz I was so busy doing some chores for the school. Huuu...

Felt lazy but no~!
Hello there! Assalamualaikum~! Laziness? Yeah I am lazy rite now. Dunno why feels like bloody hot Monday. I've prepared everything, my teaching aids and worksheets. It's all done and I only need to present them to those kids in the class. Sighs...
It's the 3rd week of the month and we're supposed to wear our uniform for Curricular activities. I wore my white BSMM uniform today:
It's the 3rd week of the month and we're supposed to wear our uniform for Curricular activities. I wore my white BSMM uniform today:
Year 1 lesson: Quite uncontrollable... they just wont listen to me like they usually did in the previous class. I have to calm them down by giving them lots of works. But hmmm... it seems like it didn't work. They prefer to talk and play around. AAaaaa~! I got my strategy wrong! So I think I just need to make my afternoon class more lively by giving them so moving around activities like games or strolling around somewhere, learning outside the class.
Year 4 lesson: Went quite nice since they listened to me and did what they supposed to do. We had lots of reading activities today and it seems like i have time constraint. I didn't have enough time to go through all of my planning. But never mind, I'm planning to continue it tomorrow. I'll do more on writing.

Hard but not impossible
Felt like Saturday today hahaha! Oh well it's Sunday though and I spent my Saturday yesterday with playing my favorite online game to release my stress and at night I did my homework by doing some Teaching Aids. I dunno why I was kinda tired. It was only 10.30 and I was sleepy like hell... urgh...
My Teaching Aids for year 4 :-
And today My dad, my sis and I went to a bookstore to buy some stuff for my BSMM's uniform accessories and my sis' school stuff. While browsing around I found the thing I think pretty helpful for my KSSR lessons. Hehehe~ :-
The content is kinda nice and easy to follow.

Relax time~
Okay it's Friday today and for me it's the day I enclose all my works. I have this resolution for 2012 not to brink back my work home. And yep so far I did that successfully! Alhamdulillah... berkat Allah SWT menggerakkan hatiku supaya lebih bersemangat pada tahun ni.
Events : "Membudayakan Al-Quran"
Activities for today :-
Year 1 : I brought them go around the school and show them some parts of the school. We had a little talk about how much they love the school and the response was good. Some of them just uncontrollable when they were given such activity.
Year 4 : We had a Listening and Speaking session about Pets. I told them story about my pet and I asked them to tell the class about their own pet just like I did just now. Yeah and it went nicely... I gave them a little homework. I asked them to write about their pets in the exercise book and put their picture in the book. Hahaha! U know what? I got a present from my student! My very first 2012 present! A girl named Sofia gave it to me! Hehehe!

I'm angry but...
Today is the "1 Murid 1 Sukan" day in our school for all the sports club. As for me I'm the teacher for netball club. Things not going smoothly as I planned yesterday because the schedule has been moved and somehow I forgot to bring my phone to my class and I didn't know what time was it. I wasn't sure when to let them go recess and in the end I made a mistake by letting them go earlier than they should. Sighs.... I hate it.... cuz I'm not the type of a person who works in rapid changes kinda situation.
Well since the period has been changed I got confused for my year 1 class whether their time changed too or not. I was supposed to teach them songs about the animals sounds they've learned previously but since I have this time constraint so all I could do was just introduced the songs to them and sang it together randomly. So I guess I'll continue the lesson tomorrow.
For year 4 was kinda hectic too since the time changed and I couldn't prepare my teaching aids well. However it went kinda well since everyone of them participated in the activities happily but they were sorta spoiled. They didn't listen to me when I said don't go out yet, it's not recess yet! They just went out like that and I got furious. I nagged them a little and finally 2 students came to me and said sorry. Oh well... pupils and teachers are the same. We are human that keep making mistake and sometimes forget where we supposed to stand...
12/01/12 is our headmaster's birthday and today we celebrated it by giving him a small cake. Hahaha! He was so happy when we sang the happy birthday song for him. Overall our headmaster actually is a nice guy. ^^

Lets Partyyyy~!
Hahaha! I had so much fun teaching year 1 today!
It's Wednesday today and today everyone in the school must wear our uniform for either 'Pengakap', 'Puteri Islam', 'BBSM' or 'KRS'. Formally I'm in BBSM but actually I'm a registered KRS teacher. Well, heck I just wear my KRS uniform even though they put me in BBSM rite now. They said it themselves, just wear it!
7.30 till 8.00 am is PJ class or Physical Education class with 6B. For starting, they listened to me nicely unlike year 3 last year which was so painful with all the argument among themselves. I thought wanna teach them how to play netball but unfortunately the ball for netball is a locked store room. So all we did was playing volleyball instead. Argh... I'm seriously not good with volley.... huuuuuu....
My music class is a blast! Even though they was kinda uncontrollable but somehow I managed to make them listen. I was supposed to teach them greetings so I taught them 3 basic greetings and 1 courtesy (Hello!, Goodbye!, Sorry!, and Good Morning!) I was so excited to see them so excited learning it. The response was 100%. If only this can be consistent but I have to remember that children are waves that sometimes big and sometimes small... and sometimes EXTREMELY HUGE like tsunami. Hahaha! I asked them to follow my actions and listen to my story everytime I showed them some pictures of greetings.
1B class was so much fun! I could see their expression on their faces... wanting to learn and explore more! Wanting me to say GOOD! GREAT! NICE! VERY CLEVER! etc. I brought them to Visual Art Room and they were so happy. They queued and followed my instructions accordingly. All in all they behaved quite well. They really made me smile today and I started took some clay out for them to play with. I asked them to make any letters they like, from A to Z. And the results.......

They play yet they learn~
Hmm... "each child is unique, and each requires a specific pedagogical approachappropriate to him or her and to no other"
Yep... it's true for actually every child is unique and they have their own ways to learn things. Some learn just by listening, some learn by watching, some need to experience things, some learn by drilling, some........ etc. You have to have 100 kind of approaches if you have 100 children in one class. It is tiring but as a teacher... we have to realize who would care for them and be their hero if it isn't us. Their parents? Yes but before we go looking for others to blame... look at ourselves, at think back of our duties and our title, "Teacher". Teacher is a combination of a lot of meanings and that's why a teacher is the most noble job in the world. These kids actually didn't do anything wrong but well I do agree when Jackie Chan said there's no bad pupil, only bad teacher.
Okay~ today's lesson was singing Good Morning song. I thought I could make the class lively by ask them to do some phonics activities first then sing the song, but... ouch! I was wrong! Their batteries got weaker and weaker!! たいへんだあああ!They were hungry and one of them actually got fever. Huu... anyway the lesson went just nice during the first activities but hmm.... I think I need a better strategy to tackle them. Haha!
For year 4M, It went nicely. Sanisah, the worse scenario in the class... a girl who doesn't talk much but she likes to do other stuff while you were talking in front or do some other activities with the class. Today I asked her to move to the front so that I can see her and pay more attention to her. Well, I was trying to make it sounds less embarrassing for her and I guess it works cuz I didn't see any frowning after that. She just smiled and did as I told her to do. Shamie is a very hyper active boy who likes to response negatively towards other people. What I meant by negatively is he always gives bad excuses every time I want the class to do activities at home. However, I found it amazing when I asked the class to do the homework in the class and he did it seriously. He did his work like I told him to, corrected the wrong sentences when I told him that it was wrong and I like it so much.
